Welcome!
The purpose of this site to showcase my prose and comic ideas, and the awesome renderings done by the artists that I have worked with.
The webcomic stories are drawn from actual experiences of mine, and I hope are funny, entertaining, and containing pearls of wisdom.
I am currently seeking freelance writing work in the comics, RPGs, and on-line material.
You can check out Lessons Learned as a sample of my material, or go to the links section and read my MONDOmagazine reviews. I am interested
and well versed in most genres, and I am always willing to do extensive research for future projects.
A quick explanation: Before I moved to Canada, I was born in South Africa, and my last name - Uys - is from a very old Afrikaner family... actually I am the 13th generation. Uys is pronounced 'Ace' - so the corrected pronunciation of this site's name is 'Ace-Faber'. I just wanted to pay respect to my heritage in my creative pursuits. Thanks!
Just released: Lessons Learned Issue 5 webcomic.
If you’d like to contribute please send an email - we are always interested in having more writers and artists joining us on the site.
Thanks,
Andrew Uys
